Aaron Volling was elected to his first term as District 8 Commander at the Spring 2023 District meeting and installed on the State Council of Administration at the conclusion of the 2023 State Convention.

A Life Member of Florence County VFW Post 3635, he is also serving his 5th consecutive term as Post Commander.

Aaron served in the US Army from 2005 – 2015, earning his eligibility for the VFW while deployed to Iraq.  He is very interested in helping other Veterans get their VA benefits.  A special event for him is the Veterans Tribute Ride in Iron Mountain, MI.

A resident of Niagara, WI, Aaron and his wife of seven years, Kristin, have a very busy household with one son and two daughters and another on the way.
