Cory Geisler
National Council Member - Army

 

Cory Geisler has been a member of the VFW since 2008 and is a member of Soat-Vergenz Post #721 in Waukesha. He served 7 years in the United States Army and earned his VFW eligibility from his one year of service in Korea and 15-month tour in Iraq supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. During his time in the Army Commander Geisler served in a variety of leadership positions and left the Army as the Platoon Sergeant for the 108th MP CO (ABN/AASLT).

Cory Geisler has served in a variety of positions within the VFW at Post, District, and State Level. He was a two time All State Post Commander for VFW Post #721 in Waukesha and achieved All American Post Commander during the 2018- 2019 command year. He was an All-State and All-American District Commander for District 2 during the 2018 – 2019 commander year. He served as the Safety and Youth Activities Chairman for the Department of Wisconsin from 2015 – 2019.

Cory currently lives in Hartland, WI with his wife of 16 years, Beth Geisler, and their 11-year-old daughter, Laura. Cory works as a Commercial Sales Coach for Batteries Plus Bulbs, LLC helping to support franchise owners throughout the country. When Cory isn't working and advocating for Wisconsin Veterans you find him on the roads or in the woods. He is an avid runner who enjoys running ½ marathons, marathons or ultra-marathons, and deer hunting.
