Renee Simpson

Renee Simpson is a Gold Legacy Life member of Camp Douglas Memorial VFW Post 10911. She is a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Military Order of the Cooties, American Legion, The Forty and Eight and the Disabled American Veterans. A member of the VFW since 2003, Renee currently serves as Post Commander, Auxiliary President and a member of the National Inspection Team. She has served in several offices and chairmanships at the Post, District, State and National levels, to include State Commander, National Surgeon General and Big 10 Auxiliary Veterans & Family Support Chairman.

Renee served in the US Army as a Medical Specialist earning her eligibility while deployed with the 108thMilitary Police Company on Tuzla Main, Bosnia Herzegovina during Operation Joint Guard in 1997.

Since leaving the US Army, Renee has continued to support the efforts of our service members in several roles. She worked at Regional Training Site – Medical at Fort McCoy, WI as a Bio-Medical Parts & TMDE Technician/Instructor and at Camp Williams, WI as a Soldier & Family Readiness Specialist. Currently she works at Camp Williams, WI as an Administrative and Grants Officer Representative Assistant at the United States Property and Fiscal Office.

Renee continues to enjoy supporting our service members and their families as a volunteer with the 32D Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Soldier & Family Readiness Group.
