Nick Webster’s started his Military serves in the Wisconsin Army National Guard as an Infantryman in 1999. In 2004 he deployed with B Co 1-128th to FOB Cobra in Iraq. He deployed a second time to Iraq from 2009-2010 serving at Camp Cropper. He finished his career in 2022 as a Master Sergeant.
Nick joined the VFW as a life member upon returning from his deployment in 2009. He bounced around between a few posts as he moved around the state. Once he joined Post 7232 in Eau Claire, he became an active member serving a variety of roles and enjoyed honoring other veterans as a member of the Honor Guard. He was elected as the Quartermaster and was a back-to-back All-American and All-State quartermaster during the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 years. He has been on the State By-laws Committee since 2023 and the National By-laws Committee since 2024.
Nick currently is a Silver Legacy Life Member with VFW Post 10911 in Camp Douglas where he serves as the Senior Vice Commander and the District 11 Quartermaster. He is also a member of the American Legion.
Outside the VFW Nick works as a Materials Supervisor for the Toro company in Tomah, WI. He resides in Tomah as well with his wife Angela and their son Jackson. When he is not working on projects around the house he enjoys the outdoor, especially hiking.
